1990 Montero-Anybody have a spare mass air sensor? FIXED!!!!!
      #1266423 - 07/02/12 12:30 PM

Today messing with truck trying to figure out bad idle issue. Truck spits and sputters and coughs- almost dies-Then I decided to unplug and replug the Mass Air sensor. Low and behold trucks idle would smooth out. Is it possible that the mass air is going bad? I don't have a spare one around- kick myself for not getting one.

Got the mass air in truck and have been driving it to work past few days! Yeah!!!

It appears I need one. I am going to try to get ahold of my nephew and swap his into mine and see if it fixes issue. Problem is he is an EMT and I am an ER nurse and our schedules are like polar opposites LOL. But I'd hate to buy one if it's not really that (expensive lil things. Right now I have No extra cash... If you have one PM me with a price or whatever..
