Wrench fest for Lloyd
      #1241247 - 03/22/11 03:54 PM

We're gonna swap out Lloyd's 3.5 for another 3.5 over a 3 day weekend and everyone is invited to come help. Lloyd is gonna post up his list of parts he needs, he'll order the stuff he needs from the dealer and we should be able to source the rest between me, PA_JERO and Johnny.
Anyone with available garage and parking space post up, PA_JERO and WW have offered up their garages already but PAJ would need some of his parts trucks removed first, WW is more centrally located. Anyone else post up what you've got.
I talked to Lloyd today and he thinks Easter weekend would be a good 3 day wrench fest, does anybody have a problem with that?

I have an engine stand, a cherry picker, pressure washer and a fully functional '95 to look at. I'll make myself available as well.

Any parts from the ol' JusticeTero are available, as if any remain, for Lloyd. It's the least I can do.

I've got a 2-car garage with a pretty decent tool collection and a large air compressor for air tools. My tent trailer is sitting in one side of the garage with stuff piled on and around it - it could be removed but I'd need to store it (possibly at my parent's house) since my HOA won't allow it to remain parked on the street. My house is up in Desert Ridge near Hwy 51 and the Loop 101, so its easily accessible but not centrally located to everyone else.

All that being said, I'd be more than happy to make my garage available for a weekend's wrench fest.

Don't worry. "Evil Knievel" has come back from the dead so many times that cat's come to him to ask his advice.

You should be fine.

Anyone got a portable shade tent big enough to cover a truck completely? Remember johnny´s shade tree rolled over and played dead on his motorcycle.

Working on some prep. Got rid of the grill guard, mud flaps, and running boards. Yanked the radiator, and will take it in for the 3rd core then leave it out. Skid plates are off already, as well as fan and such. Will see what else I can pre-disconnect on the engine. I have a slave, I mean helper around right now. Anything else that would save time and be reasonable to take off and I will...
