rebuilding 88 2.6 need info on parts best to use.
and is it better to rebuild radiator or buy new/ remanufacted. pros/cons ???
any info is helpful ill be taking notes. planing starting next month. and will ppost pics of project. not sure how far into the motor iam going to go. depends how bad it is when i take head off. and pull the oil pan to inspect.

Try rodding out old radiator, then recore if not able to rod out. OEM is much better than any new non-oem I've seen. Look for crack in head between valves. I'd spend the $ to buy a new head from Clearwater, hydraulic non-jet valve model. I'd also pull the balance shafts and check the bearings. New oil pump, too, with a new timing set.
