      #1192963 - 01/06/10 07:03 PM

well i got the cab done supposed to do the bed tomorrow afternoon i will try to get pics then...I was looking at the bed mounts and don't see a way to get to the top of the bolts was just gonna cut a hole in the top of the bed and fix it later...and lastly it is a 2 inch lift what size tires will go on there now...looks like 33s at the most

the old bolts have a piece on the side so they wont turn when you remove them.but that is also why you cant realy get to the new bolts on the front of the bed when you put the new bolts in they will turn and you cant get a wrench in there.

--------------------
87 dodge power ram 50,35" tires,5 1/2" total lift,4.6 gears,lockers front and rear,Rancho RS5000's,custom front bumper,custom rock sliders,cct extended diff breathers,75 amp alt(40 amp stock),thorely header,K&N,wheeled hard...

ok how many mounts are on the bed....looked like 6 to me but I thought it was only 4...we were thinking about cutting out some spots on the bed so we could get to them...i have a pile of places to patch anyway...the driver floor board is almost gone and somemore spots on the passenger

8 body mounts on the bed, after I did my last BL, I just went to 4 mounts.

Does your tranny go in to all gears now after the bodylift? When ive done my last 2 had to hammer the trans tunnel down.

Watch your fuel filler hose itll get tight on ya in hurry.

BTW I would have done a 3in BL and none less on the D50 it has kinda wimpy fender opeinings.
