Went for a Sunday spin up to Chews Ridge in the Ventana Wilderness. Spotted this guy in the middle of the fire road.
I knew I need something for scale, that's my size 11 boot.
Sorry for the blurry pic, I'm not a spider guy and he was on the move 
At around 5,000 elevation, looking east into the Salinas Valley, Greenfield area.
