I'm seriously considering flat blacking one or part of one of my montero's. I love the color of the blue one it's my favorite, but It would look pretty bad all black. I don't know that i could bring myself to do it unless i had another blue Gen 2.5 or Gen 3.

All I seem to get up here are black SRs. I would love to have a blue one. If we were not on diagonal opposite ends of the country I would try to find a way to trade.

Actually, I have no opinion on the matter. Flat black would be good, but the colors they are presently aren't bad either.
I like what I did with my hood a few years ago. I painted only the raised section of the hood primer black. It made a nice difference with respect to glare off the hood (and I like how it looks).

Keep the blue Alive man, if anything do it to the green on. You never see any GREEN trucks do anything HARDCORE. I hope LT reads this, Cause he'll probably look at this and do that head shake thing. Just  this post LT.

I say paint the green one flat black. Flat black is the best color ever for a mitsu. Well besides blue of course. 
My monty will be two tone blue and flat black. Black top blue bottom. My D50 was red now it has a flat black top. 
 For an idea of how it looks.

Pretty much. A buddy of mine has one and I really liked it. So I went to the auction and bought one. Brought it home put blocks in the rear and cut the front springs I think the first weekend I had it. Went to the wreckers grabbed a toy front bumper and the wheels are off my buddies trooper. His wife was tired af looking at them I think. Tires are leftovers from a buddies talon. I've built this truck on freebies as much as possible. I broke a rear spring on it while carrying my Samurai's drive train to the shop so now it has toy front leafs out back 
Hijack over. Flat black all the way
