Starter

Hi Guys,

Have a starter on the way out. I have not seen any posts for a starter part number for a 4656 diesel engine. 1991 Pajero.

Any thoughts or ideas. I would rather not have to deal with getting it rebuilt at this point.

I wonder if it's the same as what's in the old dodge/mitsu pickup's.

I went down this road already in my Delica. The 1987 Ford Ranger Diesel 4D55 had the same mitsu starter as ours. I ended up rebuiding my own and it actually worked!
