What do you do about the chrome trim pieces with aftermarket wheels? I don't like the "exposed rusty hub center" look some trucks have when they switch wheels. Looks like 32's are the perfect size for Gen1's though

If you use steel wheels, the Mitsu hubcaps and springs can be reused. If you use aluminum rims, I'm not sure if the Mitsu mag springs/hubcaps can be reused. Otherwise, you can search through wheel catalogs, like American Racing, for aftermarket hubcaps, spinners, and the like.

Ummmm....... paint the hubs. Here are 32s - 265/75/16s on U.S. Wheel 16s before a 1.5" rear spring lift was done:

At my request, I got three center caps when I got five new Unique rims (two caps for the rears and one for the spare).

you can crank your torsion bars, OR get a tai lift kit that may or may not fit a gen1.
