Got her out for a few hours yesterday on a trail not too far from here. Easy trail with some optional climbs to test out. Rear Locker works great. I still have a few bugs to work out here and there, and I need to get those sliders finnished. She runs a little warmer than I would like when crawling, nothing near an overheat but the needle creeps to half way and holds when I'm not at speed.. I think I'm going to get an extra radiator from the yard and get it rodded or re-cored to 3 rows.

Lordtrunks and or Toasty, are you guys still offering the 3 row 4 cyl/6cyl hybrid radiator for sale?

Got a couple other bugs to work out as well. More later.

Made some progress

Hooked up an auxillary fan behind the grill. Its a Nippon Denso out of a Mazda MPV that was in the yard. wired it to the batt with a toggle in the cab to turn it on and off when I flip on the toggle both the condenser fan and the auxillary fan will run. Still plan to replace the radiator just for GP..It's been soldered on before and I dont trust it..

Sliders are almost there. They're all welded up now..just need some final touch ups and paint and they will be ready to weld on.

Nice. I especially like your rear bumper design.

Any thoughts on the gas tank?

The gas tank..yea that sure does hang low..looking at it theres no way I can see to move it up like you can on a gen2. The frame fits around it too tight. I'm planning to build a heavy duty skid for it. Hopefullly when I get some 35's it will keep out of the rocks most of the time.

once you go 35's there's no turning back trust me you won't want to go back to 33s ever again.

I'm working on a design plan to raise the tank as well as incorporate a beefy skid plate. 34 or 35's will be my next size tire too...

Cant wait to see it..I dont think a LWB design will work with the SWB though..Mitsu made the V6 SWB tank larger than the 4 Cyl so its packed in there real tight. The only way I see to move it to the top of the frame rails would be to remove the body from the frame first. The seams are outside the framerails on the SWB V6
