Second owner 1985 4x4 Pickup, ~150k miles
- Stock 22r swapped in from a 1990 pickup
- OME springs and shocks, 2.5" lift.
- 16" Tacoma Wheels, powdercoated black
- 235/85-16 MTRs (a tall stiff 32 x 9")
- 1990 wider rear axle with e-locker retrofit, 4.56 gears.
- Sky wide axle kit with Detroit TrueTrac in front, 4.56 Precision gears. LC rotors, 1990 calipers and bigger brake master cylinder.
- ARB front bumper, Warn M8000, Amsteel blue line.
- Extended diff breathers, cadillac horns, H4 headlamp conversion.
- Upgraded W56 tranny that I rebuilt with Marlins HD kit
- Marlin 4.7 gears in the transfer case.

Many of these great mods were found via this forum, thanks!

I have seen your truck! You live right by a guy I worked with. He used to have a nice green 93 Xtra cab with close to 300k miles before he gave it to his daughter.

I'm from Denver but I love the Monument area. Here is mine:

'89 22RE
265K total miles
Jasper 22RE (burns too much oil)
Rear ARB, 4.56s swapped from 4.10s
stock suspension height
Rancho RS9000 shocks
SR5 cluster swap
Marlin HD tranny
Michelin 31" LTX/MS
ARE Ansen slot mag 15x8 aluminum wheels
Warn fender flares

FUTURE:
Marlin 4.7 case
Budbuilt under-stuff
Linex bedliner
factory Toyota longblock
maybe 32"s
maybe rollbar (lightbar)

Any suggestions anyone? What do you think?

I had a somewhat productive Christmas break and the frame now has both axles slung under it.

To Sick yellow 4runner;
Do you have any rubbing issues with those 35" tires especially when making sharp turns or flexing.
