Itek 4cyl. It will strat for about 30 sec. but will not run. Computer shows no codes. All the fuses that i found are good. Is there more fuses or relays hidden somewere else? Is there a way to check the relays to see if they are working.

Do you mean starts and runs for around thirty sec?... If so then check and make sure you are charging and that the fuel pump is running... How long have you had this problem, did it just start or.....

Could be several things, but the usual cause is low alternator output. When you hit the key to START, the fuel pump is fed from the start circuit directly, bypassing the fuel pump relay. When the engine starts and the alternator outputs voltage, the ENGINE RELAY should pull in. The engine relay is the one that powers the fuel pump relay (through fuse 12). If the engine relay isn't pulling in, your CHARGE lamp will be lit, is it ?
The fuel pump relay and the engine relay are both in the fuse box under the hood.
You could possibly have a bad MAIN RELAY (doubtful), and that's located on the passenger side, under the bracket.
My bet is a bad/weak battery/alternator not pulling the engine relay in, which in turn is not pulling in the fuel pump relay.
Do you have and know how to use a multimeter ? If so, you can measure the voltage at fuse 12 (there are little exposed points on the top of the fuse usually). Have a helper start the engine and monitor the voltage on that fuse. You should see no volts until the engine starts, then 12-15 volts while it's running.

I know you have 4-cylinder, but I had a problem with my v6. It would start, but barely run if at all and was dumping tons of fuel into the exhaust. Turned out it was a bad ignition module. It would spark enough to start, but once it warmed up it would fail and not burn the fuel. Start with the basics: fuel (pressure, volume, etc.), compression, and spark (coil, plugs, wires, spark color - mine was orange, not blue, with a bad module).

Troopersphere is right, that problem on the Isuzu 4-bangers usually points to a bad alternator... but start cheap and easy. Check the charge relay (should be swapable with the heater relay for test purposes, IIRC). Check all of your electrical connections to/from the alt and battery. If everything checks out okay, I'd pull the alt and have it tested. Then move on from there if need be.

I cleaned All the connections.Cheched the voltage on fuse 12, 14.5 volts when trying to start. Battery is at 12.35 volts. The charge lamp goes off when it runs for the couple of seconds that it does run. I'am assuming that the alternator is ok? Which relay under the pass. side bracket is the master?

You could still have a bad fuel pump relay though...
The main relay is the one in the middle on the bracket. The one toward the rear is the rear defogger, and if you have cruise, the one toward the front is for that. The headlamp relays are the ones mounted to the fender.

I have tried swapping the fuel pump relay with the a/c, that did not work. Pulled out the main relay under the bracket and the engine turned over but would not fire. Put it back in and back to running for second or two. If I stay on the start circuit it will run but with the starter engaged. That would make me belive that the fuel pump is working.Any other ideas, Thanks, Tim

It may be different on a 4-cyl, but my main relay is the one closest to the front of the vehicle (it's brown). It will have heavy-gauge wires going to it (two white, a white black I think). The one with many green wires is the a/c cutout relay #2 (thanks Jerry for that one).
