I am in need of a passenger seat...
      #725568 - 05/11/05 10:38 AM

in MOAB!!!

Assuming no setbacks, I'll be heading down Friday after work...that should put me pulling into Portal around 10pm or so. Just in time to catch some MUCH needed campfire time. I'll be a photographer/passenger seat decoration on saturday to anyone willing to lend a seat.

hehehe...i'm GOOD at poppin them doors off, but I plan to come sans tools...

Should I bring the ratcheting wrenches and the swivel head 1/4" Snap-On socket wrench (aka Door Removal Tools)?

I don't care WHO I wheel with per se, I JUST NEED SOME WHEEL TIME LOL

I'm starting to itch... and can't wait to play catch with Gozar's successor...Turbo is it? Randii...is Turbo as easily distracted by insects? I think that is a trait common to lighthearted behemoth canine companions

Gozar had focus. Turbo hasn't found his yet!

Looking forward to seeing you again, Jay!

Realistically how long of a trip out of Vegas am I looking at friday nite? my mapping software puts me on 15N to 70E and take the MOAB exit. This is right about 6.5 hours?

Mebbe if ya drive like grandma...

Drive it with a purpose and you can prolly shave an hour off that time.

Estimates show ~100 miles more than from Denver, quickest trip home was ~4hrs. THAT was movin!

Typical is 5-5.5 so 6.5 dont seem terrible... see ya Fri...

Better yet, leave Thur, call in sick Fri. (red dirt fever) ya KNOW ya wanna...

460 miles or so. If you average 80, that would be just under 6 hours. Faster than that, and you are risking tickets

Should I go ahead and get an extra box of burgers for the BBQ on Saturday evening??

Uh... Jay, if you 'wheel with Keith and go doorless, make sure you use the sunblock on that right leg of yours, we all remember what happened last time you trail-slutted in a doorless truck! Don't want that to happen again!
