Well, DOR shakles and TB crank went on over the weekend with some good results. Looks like about 1.5 - 2" of lift (I love it when the marketing material is dead on) - I'd have a more accurate number, but I got lazy and didn't bother measuring before I started. Net result is about 14" from frame to floor.

I'll be able to nail down times closer to the date, but I expect I'll drive down to Winston Salem Thursday night, then head on over to camp Friday AM. (Got family in W-S.) I'll see if I can round up some extra firewood while I'm there. There's tons down there, but it may all be rotten by now - I'll dig around and see what I can find.

I just got over here to read all of the posts, seems we have a newbie taking my trucks nickname.

Listen here WillV there's only room on the east coast for one Mule. We can hash this out on Daniel or rocky mountan loop, whoever makes it up can keep the nickmane.

Just kidding, glad you got a little altitude adjustment on your Rodeo before comming. Maybe now you won't be cringing quite as much when you hear the rocks on the skid plates.

Well, "Mule" is abbreviated - it's actually the "Lil Mule" after a particularly funny wheeling scene in a bad Michael Douglas 80's movie. (10 points to who gets it first).

(Although honestly, this might be way too easy...)

Yep, it IS too easy...

Heaven help me, but I can even tell you that Kathleen Turner's character was named 'Joan Wilder'.

So let's just skip right past this one, and instead have someone name the NEXT movie that they all got together to do.

Extra Points if anyone can connect one of the actors to an actor in ‘Smokey and the Bandit’ in 3-movies-or-less!

(BTW: The ‘Smokey and the Bandit’ reference puts this back on-topic, because we always have at least one S&tB Quote Session, via CB radio, while we’re out on the trails! )

[EDIT]

Speaking of which...
Is anyone actually going to BRING a copy of S&tB this time, or was that just talk?

[/EDIT]

Danny Devito (Who was in both Romancing the Stone AND Jewel of the Nile) was in "Johnny Dangerously" with Dom DeLuise, who was in "Smoky and the Bandit II", and "Cannonball Run", which of course gets it in 1 and 2 movies respectively.

Does that count? (And yes, I cheated.)
