IFS Ball joint spacer update.
      #57556 - 07/02/03 06:11 PM

Relating to this original post.

Ball Joint Spacer thread

Randy Ellison, who's stationed in Japan was the one who originally gave me the ball joint spacer information. He sent me this picture of what the kit looks like from the Japanese company that makes them. If you can read Japanese, here is the company's site. http://zeal.jp.org/ You could try to translate using: http://babelfish.altavista.com/ The spacers are 1" thick.

Can you order that kit from the US? It gives 3" of lift right? Just wondering.

the website, even translated, isn't very helpful. but i sent them an e-mail asking about how much they are and how much shipping would be and if they could give me more info on them. so maybe they will write back (hopefully not in Japanese)

I can take care of that if needed, or if anybody would like to have something translated to japanese.

If you have to ask about a SAS, you're not ready for it.

All you'd need is an old ball joint to have a machine shop make one for you. They'll just copy the pattern.

Frank.

Haha! actually it's my wife who can speak japanese, not me. I only know a couple words, mostly insults. [Big Grin]
