Hope I can make it, now. Seems my timing belt tensioner is finally giving out at 135K miles(yikes!). I am going to begin working on it sunday(tear-ing down), and getting the new tensioners monday, but if they cot too much, i wont be able to make it to BMRA this time. Well, if anyone can help me with tips on this procedure Im getting into, PM me with them. I have just this fall put in new valve cover gaskets...now this? I should've done the tensioners and belt at the same time!.

I have never done the tensioner. I had a 97 rodeo that had a tensioner problem, but I got rid of it before it went out.

Check out my new trail tires.....

You don't think they will rub do you?

Frisky...are you sire you didn't steal those wheels off that 2nd gen trooper? Anyways...hate to break it to ya'll, but I wont be able to make it. I have to sell the Trooper because cost of insurance, maitenence, and my sister needs to "borrow" money to help get her into a house(her family is to large for an apartment). My trooper is great, has scrathes, runs good except or the timing belt tensioner issue.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Wait...check calender

Not April 1st.....Oh man, that sucks that you have to sell it. Maybe someone from the wire needs it and can give her a good home. Personally, I would love to have a 2nd gen RS. I like the look. What do you want for it? I think you should wheel with us one last time anyway though.

Im selling it for $2ooo. That, or a trade for an economy car(or just a plain 4 cylinder car, or even a motorcycle). I have to help my sister's husband(my brother-in-law) get a car. If I traded the trooper for another vehicle, he could drive it and i could drive my 85 Ram(given to me from my grandfather). I have to either help-out with getting him a car, or helping them both move. He commutes alot(why he needs an economy vehicle) and is licensed for a motorcycle. I will trade!!! Anyways...I might be able to make it to BMRA, but I'll be driving my ugly 85 Ram 150. I might put my iuzu logo on it before I sell the trooper!

Dude I use to think the same thing when I took my stock rodeo out there. I think Frisky went out there his first time with a stock trooper. He kept up with everyone. Besides this is a great way to get out there and see which mods you need first. You should really try and make it out there. Hope you change your mind .

Yeah, the first time I went out, the only mod I had was 31's. Nothing else, no lift or anything.

If you want to go, we can make sure you don't get left behind. PLEEEAAAASE come with us so I am not the only first gen out there. We might even be able to round you up a set of 31's to run for the weekend
