The only thing now is does anybody know FOR SURE that the Trooper 10 bolt is the same and the Rodeo 10 bolt?......GOT TO BE DEAD SURE! now the only bad thing is the deal with TERA, I would love to support a deal here in the U.S. but since this posting not alot of support has been shown by others. I know its the holiday's and all so i'm taking that into consideration for the lack of response. AXES1 ]
AXES1, Peter is running this gear set(Icelandic), and I have looked into these at one time. I believe Jesse Stevens may have attempted this gear set as well. At the time I was looking into it, Mt. Sports was very hard to get a hold of and shipping time frames from Iceland were way out. I say support Tera which is local and is a known reputable company. I also feel the 5:13 gears are much more in line with our needs 33"-35" tires. I think there was a survey here at one time with an overwhelming number of people voting for 5:10s as the preferred gearing for the afformentioned tires with 4:88's being close second. Also, you have to remember the lower you go(higher numerically)the weaker(smaller) your gears get, so I wont go any lower than you need to with the ring and pinion. My suggestion would be to hit Tera up on a real group buy which would be an "Off Road Package" which would include Tera Lows and 5;13 gears for something like $800

I haven't heard anyone mention brakes yet. I have been running 4.77s with 31" tires for a few years. I noticed a marked increase in braking distance when I went to 33s a few months ago. I should probably get a set of more aggressive pads; I'm currently running stock Isuzu pads. Please include improved brake performance in your upgrade list if you go to 5.13s. Stay safe.

good point in both replies...... yes i would go to a bigger pad, maybe even a better rotor. and as far as TERA goes....oh i'm in for a deposit jan. 2nd. that info was researched as a backup plan if this Tera deal fall through.......like i said you have to have a backup plan.

Agreed. Here we have a local company who's shown interest in the Isuzu aftermarket before, stepping up to the plate for a second time and they're only asking for a very small order at a very small price to get these things into production. Once into production, we have the potential to see an even lower price and the first Isuzu gearsets available locally (no importation hassles or extended waits). -Rob EDIT: Remember, Tera is a company not just known to Isuzus, but Jeep and the rest of the offroad community. Having their support on our side would be a valuable tool.

Not a bad idea, but i think while we're still trying to get these gears into production, we need to stay focused on just the getting the 20 orders of $210 for the gears. Once we've made the gears a reality, a package deal that offers some discount would be nice... probably end up being more than $800 since thats just the reg. price for the Teralows ($525 was the introductory offer).-Rob

RobG, Yes I agree, we must stay focused on the Tera R&P to see it to fruition, then we shall stretch the inch into a mile and ask Tera to bring back the intro $525 Tera Low Promo in combination with the R&P. $525 + $210 = $740 So $800 for both wouldnt be to far off right Tera? Please, Please, Please!

With the deal Tony is going for I would be in. I couldn't pass that up. Heck I couldn't pass up the terra low intro price this time if it came back. I am looking into the gears and thinking about them or a locker now, but if the terra lows were back to $525 I would have to buy those.
