I didn't know him well, but I just wanted to let you all know that we lost a member of our online community last night: PhilR. I don't have too many details, so I think it would be inappropriate for me to comment any further on the circumstances, but suffice to say Phil Roemer from NJ was a moderator on some of our other boards, and was well-liked and respected by all who knew him.

When something like this happens, it makes you realize that your own petty problems pale in comparison to some people's. Our thoughts and prayers are with Phil Roemer's family on such a tragic day as this.

Times like this make me aware that I have many good friends online that I may or may not ever meet. Know that you are all valued as much as the friends I "see" every other day.

Take care everyone. Let's never take for granted the blessings each of us have.

Phil worked in our Toyota Section. He was a great friend and he will be sorely missed.

Its hard to lose someone like that; I never knew him, but have just spent awhile this morning reading his words, as well as those he knew.

It seems to me that he had a great gift; the respect and love of many friends.

My thoughts go out to his family.
