There are several (I think) regional warehouses - mine's in Atlanta - and the back-up is in New Jersey. Either NJ is a master distributor, or just a larger stocking regional warehouse. Often the initial order is not filled and the order gets kicked to another location.

Hey Powell, two sets of mine have done the same thing. I have a set on the bench right now...well, they have been there for a year  ...and every once in awhile, I slap another coat of that liquid electrical tape stuff. You know, it looks like Plastidip. I figure the wires might not crack as much right where they go in.
Oh, it's a $3.25 "sensor" at the yard.
