Perceptions and assumptions - I see it on a frequent basis. A specific word morphs into a perception.
Jeep has become synonous with 4x4, regardless of specific brand. There are many 4x4s I would like to run through certain obstacles. While they may all perform adequately, they will have a hard time measuring up to expectations.
The argument about the best 4x4 are interesting and display the passion we all share about our choice of the best vehicle.
While we are out having fun, the unaware ones are wishfully dreaming they could be part. And yet, they see the words, form perceptions. Some get the terms correct and fit in.
The important point is having a 4x4 you can build to your desires and enjoy your trails.
Happy trails and perhaps we can share a campfire some day.....

...as illustrated by the story behind this license plate...
Brian (owner) got a lot of comments from the uninformed saying "nice Jeep"... and inspired him to get the plate for that reason.. and not to diss Jeeps in general..

My comment about IFS was aimed more at the Libertys and Patriots. I certainly don't have anything against IFS (I drove a Trooper for nearly 15 years).
That said, I really am enjoying having a solid axle in front.
