My A/C clutch is out. Can I remove it with the compressor still on the engine?

Has anyone tried removing their A/C compressor clutch with the compressor still in place?

I would think you would at least have to unbolt it and move it around so you can get an impact to pop bolts?or in order to get a puller.

Pull the DS tire and it will make accessing some of the A/C bracket bolts easier. A swivel head stubby ratchet helps too.
