>>>*Now that is funny, if it keeps up I just might.

*But I saw something happen with this last one, it floored me.

The Cow was fighting us, of course. In pain, then a rope on her, she was not happy at all. Le' starts talking to her in a soothing voice, and she did calm down at that but still, she did NOT want any of us anywhere near the business end.

Then the one Cow we call "50" because that is on her eartag walked over to the gate. She began to moo in a low voice, I swear to God it sounded like she was talking to the Cow we were working on.

That big Cow then turned around, backed right up to the gate where we could reach her and stood there bawling her head off while we worked that calf out!

Obviously that hurt like hell but she just stood there and let us do it! No struggle at all, we had spent an hour trying to get her in position.

That was another one of those moments, this herd was raised always together from babies, they do things like take turns babysitting. They even make the BULL babysit, that I have never seen before.

Animals fascinate me, they each have their own personalities. Some things I do not believe Cattle are dumb about at all....*EB

>>>*Dang one track mind here, huh?...

Le' and I left for Reno, she and her mother pretend to bowl in Nationals there.

*OF COURSE, while we were gone? Yep, another one tried to drop a calf, so my brother with two steel legs got her into the corral.

The neighbor came over to help, he hooked a rope up to his ATV and...

Yea, you guessed it...*LOL**...drove off!

Mother and baby are doing fine, no idea how....*#EB
