Gen2 transfer case fluid

I changed the transfer case fluid with Amsoil GL4
fluid.

It has a loud clanky noise when I change gears. Did I use the wrong fluid? I used OEM fluid in differentials and transmission. Please help.....Thanks in advance.

The book calls for
2.6 QTS of API - GL-4, SAE 75W-90 or 75W, 85W .

Looks to me you put the right stuff in there.
