I sure wish the news would stop calling this a "Botched Scheme"..
They were doing this on Purpose!!!

The news reports indicate gross neglegance and mis-management of the program from the beginning.

As the plot thickens......
So, the AG is alerting Executive Priviledge in not releasing relevant dov
Cuments.
Correctly, the President is asserting the Executive Priviledge.
As decided by the Supreme Court, Executive Priviledge applies only to what the President is personally involved with and a narrow scope of issues dealing with national security. That was decided with the Nixon tape issue almost 40 years ago.
Fast and Furious is a criminal issue.
But, the AG already declines advance knowledge of F&F and he had never discussed the issue with the President. And, that was under oath.
So, what is he trying to hide???
Did the AG lie under oath?
The appearance of corruption grows.
The Channey-energy and Iran-Contra scandles pale in comparison. This display of abuse of power and corruption and flaunting the Constitition rival the Nixon Watergate and tapes scandle.

I never really comment on politic's, but I have to say that this administrations abuse of power and the lack of the mainstream media to challenge them on anything is incredible. It's almost as if all of the network news and print media are on the administrations payroll or they have a fear of being labeled extreme.
If the current Fast and Furious scandel would have occurred during the previous administration's tenure there would have been calls from every news media outlet for a full unhindered investigation of the office of the presidency which most likely would have resulted in every top official in the AG office being fired and brought up on criminal charges.
Today the only media outlet that even comments on Fast/Furious is FOX which is bashed every day by the other media outlets for being extreme. I'm not a huge FOX news fan either. I think the over dramatize story's like all the others, but at least they ere willing to actually counter the current administration's position when the others are basically cheerleaders for them.
