I cried...
      #1264313 - 05/17/12 08:53 PM

I'm helping my wife type child life histories for children about to be adopted from state custody.

Here's a quote from the medical records of a child who was at that time 17 weeks old:

"the infant presents with 27 deep burns approx. 1cm in diameter, most through dermal and adipose layers to the musculature..."

These are cigarette burns, friends. Or maybe small cigars. The dermal layer is the skin, and the adipose layer is the fat over the muscles, which in an infant may be half an inch deep or more.

And I had to stop typing because I cried, both in sorrow and anger. No, not anger, it was blind red rage, and my only consolation is that the troll is now in prison, and I know what happens to child molesters in prison. Still not enough, somehow...

Like to be sitting outside the prison gates with a good old electric branding iron and a generator when the troll gets out, but I'll likely be dead by that time...

Sorry to ruin your day.

FE, aren't some people rotten? I know they don't have Monteros, but that is no excuse to harm or damage a toddler or infant! Some of these sick people get away with their control issues for far too long. While I worked in the education field, I saw many terrible things. I think the worst thing that I saw was a 1st grader bullied by the local skin head gang on one side of the school and the vatoes (sp??) on the other side when she tried to get away. In daylight and with numerous adults around, this poor girl was being accosted.

Nothing incited fear in the second gang, even the cops driving by.

I agree with Charlie Daniels:
"Just take them [rapists, killers, child abusers] out in the swamp / Put 'em on their knees and tie 'em to a stump / Let the rattlers and the bugs and the alligators do the rest"

I will gladly stand beside you....

There is no excuse for that kind of treatment.

So much for such a little one.

We are trying to get a 16 y/o emancipated from her abusive sister (who teaches in our K-6 down the road). Her cuts tell the story. Her sister wants to send her back to her foster parents, who also raised her. Teen doesn't want to go; not strong enough emotionally to resist the drug culture she'd be sent back to, never mind she now has a wee one herself.

We are also trying to s-can the counselor who told her if she got pregnant, she'd be treated as an adult.

On the up side, a friend's sons who just turned 18 y/o have gone to a judge and the troopers to ask what they could do to help this teen get out of her situation. They are going to be impressive young men; she and I are very proud of them.

Keep praying... sometimes it's all we can do.

Obviously a sociopath and there is no fixing those types. They should be put in the recycle bin, six feet under.

Hmmm. There's a scene in one of W.E.B. Griffin's books about a guy who raped a mafioso's g'daughter and made it into the Fed detention at Eglin AFB in the panhandle swamps. "Escaped" and was found several weeks later, nailed to a stump - been eaten alive by the wild pigs.

Nah, that's not bad enough. Let me work on it. Impaling, anal variety, aka "the Turk"??? Nah, I'll keep thinking.

While you are thinking...

For starters, "...27 deep burns approx. 1cm in diameter, most through dermal and adipose layers to the musculature..."

Piano can be kinked and broken, so a length of multistrand cable should work - sleeve-crimped tightly around the scrotum, with the bitter end securely fastened to a cypress tree deep in the swamp. Then start chumming for gators.
