MK1 Build thread Goal - Long range touring

I figured I will throw up a proper labelled thread for my build up. enjoy

stuff done so far:
convert v6 to 2.5td 5 speed
33x10.5 bf all terrains
roof rack
spare tyre carrier
new head light
220 roo lights
arb bull bar
dual battery system

Little more work this weekend:

got the u- joint fixed, fixed the steering and installed the fender flares, which the missus doesnt like, she states I need to order the 5" flares of ebay.. oookay... if you say so..





A little closer to finishing my rear bar, led lights installed. nothing to fancy, simple setup, they are very high quality lights though.





And of course on board air is nice, but having a 9L tank to help out is even nicer. welded this up for me and a mate.

Such an awesome rig. I'm also just now noticing the delica.ca decal. Very nice. One of them going on mine this week.

And howdy to haztoys. If I'm not mistaken, we teamed up to get some Starion suspenders to JVL a few years back.

Who says you can't do stuff with a Gen 1? A lot of great home-made stuff on this rig. Love the trail rash in multiple places. This is no mall-crawler.
