Let me 1st say, I apologize if there are plenty of subjects on this already posted but I am having a difficult time utilizing this "Search".    
Anyway, what have you folks found to be good off-road, bumper-mounted light for an 88 Raider?
While we're on the subject, has anybody found a bull-bar that will bolt onto a factory 88 Raider bumper?

I'll PM you regarding the difficulties you're having with the Search function.
As for lights, there's a lot of available options. I (among with many others) prefer to stick with reputable manufacturers who take the time to design both their lenses and reflectors properly (hella, cibie, etc.).
Personally I found the Hella 500 and 700 series (under $100 for a 2 light kit with wiring harness) to be very affordable options that are good quality lights.
In terms of bull bars, most here who have aftermarket bumpers don't like them and instead prefer a real off road bumper (ARB, TJM, Justice R, or Don H bumpers) versus a cosmetic bull bar. One issue with bull bars is they are more likely to fold into your vehicle in an accident and actually cause more damage than if you didn't have them to begin with.
Justice and Don are forum members who offer a real off road bumper. Justice in particular is very active on the 'wire. On the other hand, I haven't heard nor seen a post from Don in quite some time so I'm not 100% sure he's still making his bumpers.

Offroad lights for what? Front? Rear? Underbody? UFO? Underwater? Long Range? Flood?
I like a combo of good 7" conversion headlights, top of bumper Hella 500's in fog pattern, rear of luggage rack tractor armored floods on a switch, and a halogen backup light of some kind, think Hella makes one. I'd add some LED array underbody lights on the wheel well areas so I could see to crawl obstacles.
A remote control spotlight is good for jacklighting deer, too

I personally use the 19 dollar lights from harbour freight. I have broken both of them pushing stuff over, which is totally awesome. I dont mind it because they are so cheap and they give a great beam pattern. Dont spend money on something that will break.

I recently bought a set of low current draw Vision X LED rock crawling lights. The kit comes with 8 small light units (2" dia x .5" tall) that you can mount throughout the undercarriage for trail running at night... yes, we've had to do that before... ($120).
For driving lights I have a pair of inexpensive Hella 700's up front ($70/kit).
For fog lights, I haven't decided yet but am looking for a small enclosure wide beam pattern light.

off-roader, PM back at ya...
I feel like I already have adequate driving lights. Looking for additional front lighting for crawling through creek bottoms and flooding the open high country. A set of reverse-assistance lights would be nice too for backing up to trailers and downed game.

Shoot that's not cheap, I have cheap lights...4 walmart Baja lights for $20, craigslist.

I've used Harbor Freight and Bajas on golf carts and know they are pretty bright. How much additional light do they give?

Not a realistic cost comparison cause not everyone can find that deal.
$120 gets you 8 sealed weatherproof river/stream submersible LED pods. I've crossed enough streams and taken high speed passes through street puddles to know a normal lamp setup underneath would be trouble in the long term.
Also glad theyre leds since i already have a lot of load on my alternator. The total draw for all 8 pods is less than 2 amps total.
Plus with mounting them underneath can be problematic. They're so small, they can easily be mounted almost anywhere.

I have a pair of Hella 700 lights mounted on the front, very happy with them. Also planning to put on a pair of "old-school" Dick Cepek Daylighters that I've had for years on the front also. Need one of those "round tuits"
