I need a MAF sensor shipped to South Africa
      #1191271 - 12/24/09 02:12 PM

Hi

I rebuilt my rig a few months ago and got some life out of the MAF but it has finally given up the ghost.

Please look out for me for a MAF at the JY's. The JY's here doesn't really have any montys and the dealers are asking over $500

I can get on ebay for around $150-$200

If you guys can manage to get one there and ship to South Africa for less, please let me know. I will pay via paypal.

Regards & TIA
Marius

MAF in question

Yours is a 3.0 12V, right? I used one for my turbo swap, as it was in the V6 can that I used. It has worked fine with my turbo, so I wonder if the turbo one would work equally well for the 3.0 12V. If you get in a jam, and want to try it, it's yours for shipping. I just have it sitting on the shelf now, as I hate to throw away things that aren't really bad.

Thinking more, there is a 1991 Gen I 3.0 at the local Pull-A-Part. I won't be able to get to it for another two weeks though as I am out of town right now. Someone else will come along who can do better I expect.

Thanks.

Does the code on top of it correspond or is it the 609 one?

Thanks for the offer chief but I was hoping to get one for a lot less than that, especially since it has to ship to SA - I have to factor those costs as well.

Can you guys please PM the prices? I might even take both and even pay a fee for your effort. The best I could find was USD$90 on ebay which includes shipping.

wow. MontyMcV pulled through and is sending me one to my door for $60. Should be here in the next fortnight.

He also refuse to accept gratuity.

Just thought I'd mention a legend and a wheeling helping friend.

Thanks again man. I'll pay it forward

Marius
