modded exhaust pics?
      #1184044 - 11/03/09 01:29 PM

Anyone reroute their Gen2 exhaust? I think I remember DougH saying he had his straight but I don't see how that could be done.

If anyone's done it I'd just like to see pics...gathering ideas.

I can maybe post mine later I know i'm pretty lazy when it comes to hosting pics but i like to help. I had mine re done with magnaflow cats, muffler and eliminated the resonator. It was routed up higher to keep it out of the rocks. Make sure to have it bent up really high above the axle It likes to get squished a bit there.

I need Gen 2 parts! Got any?

This is on my to do list. Now that I have lifted the rear frame it can go straight from the highest point over the rear axle (I think). I'm thinking of routing it through the rear bumper I plan to make to reduce the chance of it getting hung up when reversing. Another option would be to exit the tail pipe in front of the p/s rear tire?

be careful that you don't dump the exhaust on something that will melt. Ask me how I know.

I was getting sick of all the diesel soot swirling around my back window so I just did this...very simple and fast!
