Hey guys, I just wanted to say bye before I head out. I'll be getting on the bird sometime within the next couple days. Dont know when or if I'll have access to this forum once I'm over there. Take care. I should return in the spring, just in time to plan a trip to the Sierras next summer. Dusy finally??
Its been hectic, trying to get everything at home squared away, as I've been back for less than a year since my last (3rd) deploynet to Iraq..Jon, I still owe you a skid plate. I plan on using some of that extra danger pay to buy a plasma cutter so I'll knock that out as soon as I get back. Ghostraider, send me your address so I can square up with you for that awesome denso radiator you sent me..
See you later

If you run into any bad guy's, while over there, give them Hell and by all means take care of Number One.
If you get internet service, let us know your address and we'll send you a care package or at least I will with Ray's help.
Let's meet when you get back, maybe a wheeling trip. I know you Southern California boys are not all that bad. I even met a few.

Have fun. Send your address when you get there and what kind of stuff everyone wants or needs. And if you have time, pics of trucks we do not get here are always fun.

I'll say a prayer or 2 for ya. God Bless! I was thinking of going back into the reserves as a Nurse-Officer. I was in the USAF 87-91 and JUST turned 40. Thinking of retirement - Just not sure if I want to spend time away of wife and kids. BUT the money would be great.

Thanks for the well wishes all. Just wanted to check in and let you all know I made it. Lots going on here...more on that later. Looks like I'm going to have to learn to drive a left hand drive manual. A 4WD Toyota HiLux Diesel with manual hubs...Pics when I can. I hope I can get it to last for 7 months its kinda rag tag and missing one of the front CV half shafts. I gotta figure out how to aquire the parts to fix it before the winter rains and all this sand turns to mud going to need 4wd for sure..Take care guys.
