The rear axle can not be aligned by an alignment shop. If it gets bent, you just have to toss it, or spend a lot of time and money straightening it.
The alignment I'm referring to is the side to side alignment. If it's off center a bit there is no real reason to align it back, but as you get more and more lift it will pull to the right side and your track front to back will be off to the right. As the axle is articulated, it can rub in the shock mounts on the left side as the tire scrubs past it. Not a major deal and most people here with any form of a lift have not centered theirs.
Dave had to because of the amount of lift he is running and when you get lots of lift 4"+ you really should center it so you do not loose some flex due to axle bind from the suspension setup.

OK. I did a 40mm lift. Does that mean I extend the panhard rod by 40mm?

Today I checked the AXLE distance and measurement-----No evident deviation whatsoever!!!!!!!!!
...BTW I also have rims that are more (+) offset!
No Problems here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like I said most people here have not done the relocation of the pan hard rod.
With only 40 mm of lift, you really don't have to move this at all. Only if you are on the edge of 100mm+ would it really make that much of a difference.
I ran my 40 mm lift for 9 years before just recently moving to a 100mm+ lift and have just started experiencing axle rub during articulation. I’m now thinking of purchasing Dave’s custom pan hard rod so I can relocate the axle without having to extend the mount.

whats up guys, long time no see... i put in the tj springs and the up your kia spacers for the eibach lift in the rear.the rear is now lifted about 6". axle shifted over some but no tire rubbing because i bought after market rims with less backspacing, 15 x 8 with 3.75" backspace. still working on dropping front diff to lift front more than eibach spring and up your kia spacer lift. you guys (dave , dennis, etc.) were right , when i tried a thicker spacer than what dennis and dave had told me the cv axle boots made contact with the strut.... thats why i am trying to drop the fron diff 1 to 2 inches. bought a welder and will probably ditch the IFS alltogether... we will see

I have changed my tires to 30x9.5x15. What is the recommended pressure for this size?

Not trying to be cocky or anything, but they don't say that on the tire. Or do you mean when wheeling. Or maybe it's rubbed off.

they don't put it on the tire. the decal on the car is only for the standard tires. i was wondering what pressure for normal day to day and highway driving.

Well that's messed up. I don't think i've ever seen that here. I run just a little bit bigger tire, so i wouldn't want to give you the wrong info. Good luck.

When I had the 30x950s I ran about 30-32 PSI. I is a little high for as light as the Kia is and the bigger tires but that is were I got the best gas mileage.
