Auxiliary air valve ('94 22re)
      #1067687 - 01/07/08 02:57 PM

I've determined my air valve isn't working, so the next step is to figure out why. I believe this is a wax-type function that makes the valve close when it's hot. What is the best method for cleaning it once I get it off? I called the dealership. They want over $200 for it. Not gonna happen!

Also, could someone please verify for me where the two hoses going to the air valve originate from? Right now I have the front one going to the thermostat area. The rear one goes to the back of the timing cover.

Thanks.
