Cory, with all that sound deadener, you need to keep a close eye on all mirrors. I deadened my little tin can of a mini truck, (floors, doors, rear of cab, even the CEILING!) You do not hear basic traffic noise around you. You'll know what I mean when you sit at an intersection, stereo off, windows up, and just watch the cars go by silently. It is nice, but a little eary at the same time. That said, sirens are not heard until they are on top of you. But overall, the deadening is really nice

started working on the rear bumper ..

I decided to go with a 84-89 4Runner rear.. stock Trekker bumpers are no longer avaliable , and I wanted chrome anyway ..

so here's what I did .

I got a "mock up " bumper from a buddy , so I was able to set it up on my jack stands , to get a good position ..

tucked well into the body , it fits great ..

I'm lovin' it ..

so with it set in position , time to make up some brackets

mocked up with cardboard first .. and transfered to steel plate , and cut

cleaned up and bent with 70ton press

got it welded , and then prepped for the POR-15

also while I was there , I needed to make my support bracket for the rear camera ..

and got it all por-15'd ..
