Help, power antenna gone wild
      #1023717 - 07/21/07 04:29 PM

The metal antenna mast broke on my '96 Trooper. Yet the motor for that antenna just keeps right on buzzing. Can anyone tell me which fuse belongs to the power antenna so I can stop that horrible noise?

The antenna has a limit switch on it for both the down and up
position. Since the mast is broken, it likely never hits
the limit switch and just keeps trying to run.

I'm not sure off hand where the fuse for it is, but if you
look up around the kick panel inside the passengers area,
you can see the power wire for the antenna where it goes through the body.
Just disconnect it from the wiring harness where it's plugged in.
