Where is that from? I thought I remember Mrbishi posting they were 9 1/4.

Sparkem, specs are from the outerlimits board.

Hazy yes I'm speaking about changing both diff ratios. Not sure if 4.90 is avail for the front but there's a 4.88 and that would get you close enough. I dont plan to run 35's so im sticking with the 4.63.

4.90 would be good for the later Gen II's like mine since they only have 4.272 (I think they switched to this ratio with the SOHC 3.5L, right?)

Locker switch installed...I wanted a switch with a cover to protect against accidental engagement..looked all over and could not find one, then I found this "carbon fiber" switch in the ricer lights section of pepboys

the locker pump went into the cubbyhole in the cargo area there's a nice rubber plug that I used to route the air line through to the underside..I used the bracket that came out of the SR and cut it a little bit and bent it to fit the contour(sp?) of the wheel well..

The locker engages quickly and the pump turns itself off when it reaches pressure and also purges when you turn it off, thus disengaging the locker. I havent decided weather or not to wire up the sensor to turn on an indicator light I dont really want to drill another hole in the dash. Maybe later.

My 1/2 cent, I have done this swap, 95sr into 89 3.0 manual.
The u jionts were not the same and like 52degrees I had a shaft welded up. It is a huge upgrade, lockers, disc brakes, trailing arms, (I have broken 3 sets of gen 1 trailing arms)

I buy my covered switches at Radio Shack. I swear they really are still good for something (RadioShack, that is).

They cost under $5.00 each there and they are lit when on.
