Tires + Rims diagram
      #453212 - 02/12/04 02:02 PM

I made this to check tire positions for the various popular combinations.

I think it's self-explanatory, but let me know if it needs more text.
Note that the inner tire edge remains in almost the same position with these combinations.

(edit Feb 03 2005) With 31" and larger tires, you will need to trim back the front bumper endcaps, as they intrude into the wheel well, and will rub the tire. Easy enough with a sharp blade. Cut them to follow the line of the wheel well. (/edit)

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. It matters.

Mitch: Sure!

Moderators: can this be posted somewhere on 4x4wire? It's a small ~25k gif file, so it shouldn't disturb bandwidth too much...

I hope the 33x12.5R15 Dunlop Grandtreks I'm purchasing will have no problems.

I will mount it on the stock 15x7 rim and might be getting an inch of lift from a t-bar crank and coil spacers.

Why not post it to the parts repository? It's not a part number, per se, but it will help members figure out which part they need...
