would this tire fit
|
|
I am looking at some swampers for my 87. just wondering if they would fit....31x11.50. I have cranked the bars up front i am pretty sure I could get 32s on it but wanted to ask. By the way I am looking at the LTB. I will trim fenders if I have to so no big deal

Maybe, depends alot on your wheel choice. Dont think I'd run a 31x11.50 on a lil truck like a D50 tho.
I thot you were gonna body lift it here pretty soon?

Keep in mind the 31x11.50 LTBs are only really 10.9" wide. They are actually narrower than the 34x10.5s that measure to a true 11.2". You may have some rubbing issues, but if you are all ready running a 31x10.5 (which most 10.5s are 10.4 or right on) it shouldn't be a big issue. LTBs are a great deal for the tire. They have an awesome amount of traction, and look killer on any rig to boot.

if you have 31x10.50 now then you should be ok.just watch the back edge of the fender for rubbing.

the 89 i picked up a little while back has 31x12.50s on it. evidence of very slight rubbing. the main thing is the wheels you choose to run

Good choice going with the LTBs. Keep in mind 4 wheel parts will rape you on the mounting/balancing costs so keep a little extra cash handy. I only went to them because everyone else had either special order them and wait a couple weeks, or didn't want to be bothered with my business when I bought my 34x9.5 Super Swamper TSLs. AND! I almost forgot, if you have a printer the day you go to buy the tires print out the price that they quote you on the web page. I checked my computer that morning and they were $179.99 a piece, and when I went in they tried to charge me $189.99.

I'd buy the tires from 4wheel parts and take them to America's Tire/Discount tire & pay for their mounting and the free lifetime balancing.
I've already balanced my 35's purchased last Jan/Feb 3x!!
