Re: rear axle shaft lock nut

I found the procedure but I'm looking for the socket or wrench that you are supposed to use to torque the axle shaft bearing nut to 220lb.ft. The nut has four square recesses in it similar to the frt. hub nut on an older GM or Ford solid axle 4wd. Just got a call back from Kia-15 minutes of my life I'll never get back. now ranting--I was told to call the dealer or they could give me the number to another dealer. They cannot even have a dealer rep. for my area call me. has to be done through the dealer. I've already talked to 2 dealers in my area. The tool is not listed. Question to all, would you trust anyone to reinstall an important piece as this with a hammer and punch?!?! I work for a GM dealer and I would never ever ever think about doing something as this! Now that my rant is over, all i got was a "sorry" and "we can't help you". According to them I'm just stuck with a leaking seal until---I make my own tool!!!!
Forgot to say thanks for looking up the procedure. just got a little fire in my eyes right now. Chris
