Jerry can mount...measurements?

I am thinking about getting a jerry can holder for the rear (Where the spare used to mount - I moved the spare up to the roof rack). BTW = does anyone know the EXACT measurements of a jerry can (HxWxD)? I am having a hard time finding measurements of a 20L can, and I figured someone might have one they can measure up! I am going to take the measurements to a shop near me....
