Re: where is the Charge Light Relay???

i just called Toyota to order the new brushes.
the dealer part number 27370-35060 is for the entire holder, springs and brushes which for me is $33 here in Canada.
the brushes themselves are a different # only $5 each. I thought it would be better to get the whole assembly. I have to do it after work tomorrow so it'll be quicker and I'll have new springs too. worth $20 IMHO.
thanks for the tip and I'll update this thread with results.

Edit:
I measured the voltage with the truck running and the old Alternator put out 14.25 volts so it looked good. I took out the alternator anyway and its a good thing I did. the belt would have never lasted the winter. SO I changed the brushes and took it to a shop to test it and it runs perfectly at 70amps :) I'll slap it back in tomorrow and see how it goes. I doubt that this will fix the warning lights on my dash but we will see.
