Board Rules
Please take a few moments to read the guidelines for our forums!

The guidelines are intended to make 4x4Wire TrailTalk Forums an optimal experience for everyone.

As a spam prevention measure, all new forum registrations require Administrator approval.

It is our intent that the 4x4Wire TrailTalk Forums provide a way for our readers to exchange meaningful and relevant information concerning the outdoor subjects that interest them. We strive to make sure that this is a pleasant experience for all of our users and that our system is not abused.

This system and each individual forum have rules associated with their use and may be actively moderated to ensure the ongoing quality of the system. All posts in each forum should stay "on-topic" for that forum and posts which do not comply may be edited, moved, or deleted to ensure the integrity and quality of each forum.

Considering the real-time nature of this forum, it is impossible for us to review every message or confirm the validity of information posted.

Please remember that we may not actively monitor the contents of any or all forums and 4x4Wire is not responsible for any messages posted.

We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of 4x4Wire or any other entity associated with this forum system.

Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact the forum moderator or us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

This is a manual process and the moderators are volunteers, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use the TrailTalk Forums to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, libelous, slanderous, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violate any law.

You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you.

By posting on this system you are providing a permanent license for 4x4Wire to display, incorporate, and/or re-use, without any further compensation, any and all materials that you post on this Forum (or any other 4x4Wire venue) in any of 4x4Wire's publications including collateral publications. 4x4Wire reserves the right to modify, edit, and/or delete any material posted for any reason whatsoever.

There is a finite amount of time during which you may edit or delete your own posts. If you think you may need to pull something after 24 or 48 hours (generally the maximum allowed edit time), think about it before you post!

You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless 4x4Wire, its associated and affiliated publications and companies, Infopop, Inc. (the makers of the forum software), and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission or content of any message(s) posted on our forums.

We at 4x4Wire also reserve the right to reveal your identity in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you on our site. All other personal information is subject to the conditions set forth in our privacy policies (see: Privacy Policy).

Please note that all commercial use or abuse of these forums, SPAM, UCE, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations of our users is inappropriate on the TrailTalk Forum.
We consider it inappropriate for any vendor to comment on another vendors products in any way.

If you would like information on advertising on 4x4Wire, please see our advertising guide.

A note on posting pictures:
This system allows the users to post pictures in their messages. In order to ensure that the boards remain both usable and readable for the widest audience, we would like to ask that you make sure that any pictures you post do not exceed 640 pixels in width, and not be larger than 60kb in size. If you have the need for larger pictures we would like to suggest that you post a thumbnail size image and use UBB code to link that image to a larger image.

Please keep avatars under 10kb, and please keep signature images under 20kb.

The Staff reserves the right to instantly and permanently ban anyone who fails to adhere to these guidelines.

You MUST be able to receive email from 4x4Wire for your registration to be completed. Please add bbsadmin@4x4wire.com to your allowed list!

Thank You and Enjoy!
