The Haul | F150 Dyno Battle

Diesel vs. Ecoboost vs. V8 vs. Raptor

PAOLI, Pa. (Nov 28, 2018) – In this quick episode of AmericanTrucks’ (AT) ‘The Haul’ YouTube series, our Professor of Truckology, AKA Justin Dugan, orchestrates a compilation dyno shootout video featuring late-model F150s.

“If you’ve ever wondered what Ford’s advertised crank horsepower and torque figures meant to the rear tires of your 2015 and newer rig, well, do we have the video for you!”– Justin Dugan

In this video, you will witness stock dyno runs from most of the popular engine configurations available in 2015 model year and newer F150s. Engines featured in this video include the baby 2.7L Ecoboost, the “Lion” 3.0L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel, the “Coyote” 5.0L V8 and both varieties of 3.5L Ecoboost (Regular and High-output).

All dyno runs were performed in AT’s climate-controlled dyno studio via a Dynojet 2224XLC Dynamometer for consistency and good measure.
