Sahara JKU Gets a 3" Teraflex Lift and 35’s Installed
PAOLI, Pa. (Nov26, 2018) – Lift kits, along with an upsized wheel and tire configuration, are the bread and butter of the Wrangler World. With that, Ryan Huck from ExtremeTerrain recently got his hands on a 2013 JKU Sahara for a simple build, including a 3” Teraflex Lift and 35” Wheel and Tire setup, to demonstrate the flexibility of the JK platform.
I love the look and performance you get from running 35’s on a JK but you’ll need a few other modifications to make everything work properly.
If you’ve thought about putting 35’s on your JK, this video will tell you everything you need to know! – Ryan Huck
In this video, Ryan discusses how and why you might add 35” tires to a stock ride height JK, as well as showing where rubbing can occur. Ryan also explains why he wouldn’t recommend off-roading a big-tire setup like this before adding a Teraflex 3” Lift Kit with 9550 Shocks. Additional products featured in this video include 17”x8.5” Fuel Anza Wheels, Dick Cepek Extreme Country Tires (315/70R17), and Black 6 Spline Lug Nut Kit.
