Forest Service Roads are Lifelines

Whether you are interested in car camping, RV camping or tent camping in America, you will find the type of information you need to have when planning a camping trip.

Suzi Dow, Forest Service partner with the U.S. National Forest Campground Guide, reports, "As summer approaches and we plan our research, we took a moment, in light of the current talk about "infra-structure improvement", to think about the amazing road system within each national forest. Do you realize many of the roads that cris-cross our national forests were constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) some 70 years ago? The "Lifelines" video, produced by the Forest Service, gives you a scenic overview of the new and old roads that link our national forests to communities and us. "
