Brooklyn, Bull, Cedar Fires Public Safety Closure Order – Revised Aug 16, 2017

Date: Aug 30, 2017 - Sep 30, 2017

The purpose of the temporary Area Closure Order is to protect National Forest visitors from potential flash flooding below a recently burned area and to protect National Forest System roads during the monsoon season.

USFS Law Enforcement Officers will assist in implementation of the order as they are available, and serve as liaisons with Maricopa and Yavapai Counties and the Cave Creek Ranger District.  The district will shut and lock gates and/or put up barricades to help effect the closure.  This order supersedes and rescinds order 12-17-308 R.  This order becomes effective at 4:00 am on August 16, 2017 until 8:00 pm September 30, 2017 unless terminated sooner.
