SUPER STEER IDLER SUPPORT ASSEMBLY ELIMINATES STEERING SLOP IN GM 1500-2500 SERIES IFS TRUCKS

Owners of ’93-’98 GM 1500-2500 IFS trucks can now enjoy responsive steering with SuperSteer’s new SS170 idler support assembly. Designed as a direct replacement for the factory part, the SS170 features a robust cast-aluminum, powder-coated housing and tapered roller bearings instead of sleeve bushings. The tapered roller bearing design is not only better at carrying load, but can also be adjusted to remove side play for precise movement. The SS170 comes with Grade 8 hardware and instructions. SuperSteer also offers a complete steering upgrade package (#SS170K6) that includes the idler support and a brace kit that ties the pitman arm, center link and idler support together to prevent premature ball socket wear and toe changes. The brace kit is also available separately under #SS1006. For more information on these and other SuperSteer products, contact SuperSteer, (888) 898 3281; www.supersteersuperstop.com.
