The OutdoorWire is a family of publications dedicated to outdoor recreation of all kinds, including motorized & human powered recreation. A professional organization staffed by Internet publishing veterans. OutdoorWire debuted its first publication, 4x4Wire, in January of 2000.

Since that time, 4x4Wire has established itself as the best source of high quality information on the Internet. Readership has steadily increased to over 3.0 million page views per month. Recent survey results included readers from all areas of the United State, Canada, and overseas.

Currently we have divided 4x4Wire into four major catagories. They are Jeep, Isuzu, Toyota, and general. The vehicle specific areas include all static web pages, along with the forum pages for that vehicle type. The general section includes the main 4x4Wire table of contents, along with all sections not covered under a specific vehicle types. the 4x4Wire galleries currently fall into the general section. We will be moving the specific Readers Rides galleries under the vehicle sections as time permits.

This system gives advertisers the option of choosing which areas they prefer to run their advertising. We will be adding more vehicle specific sections if the need arises.

4x4Wire.com's advertising system rotates banners near the top of each page, the most visible portion of the site to visitors who come looking for information about new products and services. Banners are typically 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels high. You can supply your own banner, or have us create one for you. These click-through oriented advertising formats lead people to more information about your product or service either on your website or in our Expo Center.

4x4Wire.com also offers button advertising in the footer of each page. The grid can accommodate a variety of button sizes. These buttons can be targeted at a specific vehicle section, or spread across the entire site. You can supply your own button, or have us create one for you.

The preferred format is to send us your press release via electronic submission, this allows us to get the press release online in the shortest possible time. When submitting hard copy press releases by mail, the preferred format for pictures (if not on disk) is a photographic color print.

Our staff is expected to maintain the highest possibly degree of editorial integrity and honesty in the publication of product reviews and advertising does not positively influence or skew product reviews in any way.
