Rock Racing to Benefit Funding for Rare Childhood Cancer

Xtreme Rock Racing Association (XRRA) and World Extreme Rock Crawling (W.E.Rock) will be holding a Rock Crawl and Rock Race fundraiser on July 18th-20th in Truckee, California and August 16, 2008 in Badlands, Indiana.

“Race for the Band” will feature drivers Doug Bigelow of Bigelow Motorsports and Todd Young of Top Line Truck Racing. These featured Band of Parents off-road vehicles will be competing to help fund new target treatments for Neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer at each event. The Xtreme Rock Racing Association and World Extreme Rock Crawling Championship Series have a member whose child has battled this disease for two years.

Zachary Yost, son of Amber and Shane will be at the event cheering for the Band of Parents featured vehicles. Yost was the inspiration behind Doug Bigelow and Todd Young stepping up to dedicate funds raised from these competitions to this new treatment initiative.
