PROTEST CLOSURE OF SNOWMOBILING IN NATIONAL PARKS
News reports indicate that the National Park Service is going to announce on April 27, the halting of snowmobiling in ALL National Parks. This attack on snowmobiling by the Clinton-Gore regime is the latest in a long string of totalitarian proclamations that includes the Roadless Initiative and new national monuments.
Everyone who cares about the use and enjoyment of our national parks must protest!! It is URGENT that you call or e-mail your Congressman and Senators NOW!
Tell them:
- You want the freedom to enjoy our National Parks by snowmobile where snow cover and park management allow it.
- You're tired of the administration catering to anti-access extremists. The public needs to be involved in how parks are managed.
- We need reasonable dialogue. We don't need top-down, unilateral pronouncements that lock us out of our parks
- Technology is providing answers to emission and sound issues. Snowmobiles are making progress in answering these concerns. We need good management, not closures.
Ask that your Congressman/Senators take action to curb the excesses of the administration. Ask that they issue a statement in support of snowmobiling in national parks
CALL the Capitol Switchboard at: 202-224-3121 to reach your Congressman/Senator.
TO E-MAIL YOUR CONGRESSMAN/SENATORS, USE THIS EASY WEB SITE:
http://government.aol.com/mygov/
Enter your zip code, and presto! Up comes your Members and the means to send a message!
Many thanks,
