MALVERN, Pa. (July 27, 2016) – ExtremeTerrain is excited to give enthusiasts a first look at the 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Using high quality renders, we have translated all of the changes that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has announced and taken the various design details that have been spotted on the 2018 test vehicles and compiled them into a series of images that give us a clearer picture of what the new Wrangler is going to look like.
My 2006 F-150 has been reliable transportation. Yeah, I have replaced the battery a couple of times. And, the tires. And. I have kept a regular change of fluids cycle. But… Yeah, there is always that “but”.
I have the center console that will flip up for an extra seat in the front. The console has a cup holder and a lid covering a storage compartment. The cupholder is ringed by by a padded foam trim covered with vinyl. (Note the images at right.) The foam pad is secured to the mounting base by a lip that slips into a matching grove on the plastic base plate.
|A rendezvous point near a gas station and convenience store is a real plus.|
While many four wheelers view the trailhead as the starting point of any trip, in reality all the fun begins at the rendezvous point. That is where all drivers congregate initially. Final supplies are purchased if necessary, and trip plans are reviewed. A lot of thought should go into the selection of a meeting place. If the rendezvous spot isn’t chosen properly, the trip may not get off to a good start.
A good rendezvous point looks like this:
Offers cell coverage.
MALVERN, Pa. (August 10, 2016) – While ExtremeTerrain completes various Jeep builds throughout the year, their most recent one stands out above the rest as it celebrates a local hero. Officer Chris Dorman of the Folcroft Police Department is a diehard Jeeper and spends the majority of his time out of uniform working on and driving his JK Wrangler. After being injured in the line of duty, ExtremeTerrain joined forces with the Southern Delaware Jeep Club (Officer Dorman’s Jeep Club) and surprised him by modding his JK Wrangler with over $25,000 in parts.
