CA4WDC Winter Fun Fest 2000 Short Cuts
4x4Wire Team Coverage: Vance Anderson, Randy Burleson, Kammy Caruss Burleson, Rick Esterly, Mike Pulskamp as well as Rob Elsemore
Avalanche Express Trail and Siberian Express Trail
The Siberian Express and Avalanche Express trails will venture into areas where a track has not been broken. The trails continue as far as safe conditions permit and vehicles are able to travel. Drivers should be comfortable with deep snow driving, and all participants should be prepared for exposure to extreme weather conditions. This trail has special equipment requirements that are verified by tech inspections.

Tundra Trek Trail
The Blizzard Brigade, Glacier Assault, Snowcat, and Tundra Trek trails involve moderately difficult conditions over diverse terrain. Snow depths will be moderate with occasional deep sections. The trail will be broken, but may not be well traveled. Stuck are anticipated and participants should be prepared to assist one another. Moderately modified vehicles are the minimum recommended for this trail. Stock vehicles are welcome, but will encounter difficult situations.

SUV Trail
The Historical and SUV tours are narrated backcountry tours through abandoned mines, town sites, and other points of interest in the local foothill area. Most travel will be over well-maintained roads. 4WD usage will be minimal.

Thousands of dollars worth of goodies... and a fateful surprise...

The River Bottom Games
Saturday was for snow, but Sunday was wetter, and less frozen. Looser and less organized, the River Bottom Games are held down on the river. 4WD is not required to get there or even to cross the river, but the optional games and obstacles are cause to lock the hubs and shift into 4WD LO.
